Do you want to find out how you make texts, conversations and other communication media understandable, engaging and persuasive for as big an audience as possible? Would you like to study which factors play a role in communication? Then this programme might be right up your street.
Students of the Communication and Information Studies programme enjoy taking an analytical approach to communication processes and have good oral and written communication skills.
The Communication and Information Studies programme at the University of Groningen introduces you to an interdisciplinary world in which you will use insights from linguistics, psychology, sociology and management studies. It links communication to the goals of the sender, the medium that is used and the characteristics of the target group.
The programme includes course units on methodology and statistics. They will train you to set up your own research projects and convert research into communication processes.
The minimum entry requirements for this programme are three A-levels.
