From September 2022, Universidad Europea de Madrid will add an English-taught track to its Physiotherapy degree. it has been teaching in Spanish and French for many years already.
The degree offers students the chance to study in English but all practical interactions with patients will happen in Spanish. It is important that students use the first two years to learn the language if they don't already speak it. The teaching methodology at Universidad Europea is very much focussed on "learning by doing". Physiotherapy requires students not only to develop a theoretical understanding of the human body, although that is clearly fundemental. It is also important that students require the communication skills necessary to be a successful therapist.
