More Information-

The Business studies programme at Vesalius College provides the skills and foundations which are necessary to become an internationally versed business leader. The 3-year programme gives students a combination of theoretical and practical skills including how businesses are organised, managed and function within the larger economic, social, legal and political context. In their last semester students bring together what they have learned either in the analysis of case studies of business behaviour or in the development of a business plan for a small enterprise within a cohort of like-minded and highly motivated international students.

The 180-ECTS program is divided into several different requirements. In general, students start with the core curriculum, a set of courses which develop relevant skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the College's distinctive program of undergraduate education. The core curriculum consists of 60 ECTS and includes courses in academic writing and critical thinking (12 ECTS), statistics (6 ECTS), and free electives (42 ECTS).

In addition to the core curriculum, students take major requirement courses.  These courses are divided into business (60 ECTS), economics (18 ECTS), mathematics (6 ECTS), and advanced statistics courses (6 ECTS), for a total of 90 ECTS.

To give students the opportunity to develop areas of personal and eventual professional interest, Vesalius College requires the completion of major electives. Major electives count for a total of 30 ECTS towards the degree program. Business students at Vesalius College can create a Minor in one of four fields: Accounting and Finance, Economics, International Management, and Marketing and Advertising.

Vesalius College presents students the opportunity to participate in its exclusive Internship Programme.  It can offer students workplaces in one of 50+ prestigious partner organizations in Brussels, which offers students an international and European learning and network platform with a wealth of resources.  Vesalius College students can also study a semester at one of its 30 partner universities across the globe.
