Reims

The city of Reims is located in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France. The population of Reims in 2014 is around 188,000, and Reims has always been recorded as the most populous city in the region.

Notre-Dame de Reims is one of the world’s most famous cathedral and Europe’s most important Gothic structures. It is where the kings of France were crowned before. Besides the cathedral, there are many other historical and artistic museums around the city, such as Musée du Palais du Tau, Basilique St –Remi and Musée des Beaux –Arts. “Night of the Museums” is one of Reims students' favourite cultural events.

Far from its nickname “post war sleeping beauty”, Reims is a dynamic city with numerous festivals throughout the year and a vibrant nightlife. It is also a centre of champagne production where France’s largest champagne-producing houses locate their headquarters.

Reims is a very pleasant place to live in and study.
