Universita Bocconi logoUniversita Bocconi offers an English-taught Bachelor degree in International Economics, Management and Finance.

Every year they organise the Discover Your Talent week to give international students the chance to figure out if Bocconi is for them.

Last year 14 British students took advantage of this opportunity and some of them are enrolling there this October to take their full undergraduate degree.

If you are giving serious thought to studying economics at university we are confident that you will find this a once in a lifetime opportunity that you will not want to miss.

About Discover Your Talent

During the Summer Week, that will be organized on 1st to 5th July 2013, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Experience 5 days on Bocconi's urban campus;
  • Attend academic level classes among the subjects that comprise the Bachelor of International Economics, Management and finance
  • Meet senior students and professors who will give you an insight into academic and student life at Bocconi;
  • Sit a special entry test valid for admission to 2014-2015 Bachelor programmes;
  • Meet foreign students from all around Europe as well as Italian students;
  • Discover Milan and the Italian way of life!

Students from all around Europe and the world will be attending Discover Your Talent this summer.

How does it work?

Universita Bocconi

Students who are interested in attending the summer week must be in their second to last year of high school. You should be taking your AS levels this summer. You are intending to study maths and/or economics to A level and will expect to achieve at least a B grade in all your subjects.

You also need to demonstrate a good "grade point average" which basically means you need to have good GCSE grades (certainly A or A*grades in most subjects).

If you wish to attend the summer school there is an online application form where you can start the procedure. It's a good idea to involve your teachers in this process as a teacher's letter of recommendation may be required (usually we find that economics teachers need to be involved but it may be possible through your Sixth Form tutor or Head of Year). The deadline for applications is Tuesday 30th April 2013.

If you are successful in your application you will be notified by mid-May.

There is no cost involved in attending the Discover Your Talent week. All you have to pay is the cost of getting to Milan from the UK and your accommodation for the week. Meals (lunch and dinner) are included free of charge from Monday 1st July to Friday 5th July.
