Cross Cultural Management and Languages (CML) is a major within International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) that prepares students for a career in international profit, non-profit organizations and governmental institutions such as those that pertain to the EU and national governments. The course covers topics in the field of international marketing and communications, international law and cross cultural relationships. In the major CML you will not only learn English but also two other languages.

The professional field of especially non-profit organizations is closely involved in the development of the different units and the assessment of the student’s progress. In the first semester of the second year the student has a work placement. This work placement will be in the country of one of the languages that is chosen by the student for the study program. The final semester in year 4 is a graduation assignment for a company or NGO, in which the student has to show that he or she is able to function at an appropriate level in an international environment.
