More Information-

The BA (Hons) Fine Art Experimental Media programme at Prague City University cultivates a multidisciplinary approach to fine art and digital technology through a highly practical and creative learning structure based on small cohorts and a very individual approach to teaching.

Through a gradual transition from tutor-led projects to student-centred learning, the programme builds a strong set of forward-looking, creative, technical and academic skills enabling students to gain first-hand knowledge of the developments in current and emerging media and technologies in the arts. The practical knowledge offered by the programme is continually informed and complemented by relevant theory, critical thinking and reflection.

You will learn in a studio-focused, research-informed, and highly practical environment, gaining the experience and skills upon graduation that allow you to pursue a range of career opportunities and activities in the arts, technologies, and the cultural sphere and beyond.

The BA (Hons) Fine Art Experimental Media programme is an internationally recognised British degree. Successful graduates can go on to enter employment, or progress to the MA in Fine Art at Prague City University.

What is particular about fine art experimental media programme at Prague College is that we offer a learning culture that provides a unique combination of a substantial range of technical and production skills across new and traditional media shared by all our students, while at the same time building a unique creative pathway for each student through emphasis on context, concept, process, experimentation, and reflection.

We give particular significance to the range of technical skills we offer, some of which are at the forefront of the development in their respective fields, while recognising the importance of curatorial and professional concerns and practices and the broader critical cultural context in which the work is embedded.

The programme is assessed via a variety of methods. However all assessments are designed to suit the requirements of the module. Assessments are designed to build on the work you undertake in your modules and contribute to the development of knowledge and skills.
