What will it be like?

It is difficult to give you a definitive answer to the question "What will it be like?" as every place is different and you might feel differently about the experience to anyone else. The purpose of this page is to give you a few examples from students who have been there and done it. In some cases, this will also show you the kind of career development that could be open to you if you study abroad.

Why did you choose ECU for your studies?

The university was highly recommended to me by a previous student, so I made two trips over from the UK to visit and check you guys out. I chose to do the Grad Dip in Australia as a pre-requisite to applying for Permanent Residency, rather than getting paid to do it in the UK

How do you find your course?

The first semester I found fairly easy going with plenty of time to do some good quality work, hence the good grades. The lecturers were excellent...on the whole I have found the standard of teaching at ECU to be of a very high standard, barring the odd exception, and I have certainly learnt a great deal from my studies.

Why would you recommend ECU to students wanting to come to Australia?

It is a great learning environment in a glorious setting - do it, you won't regret it!
