Our Murcia campus is home to more than 16,000 students and 1,000 professors from all over the world. In addition, we have international teaching sites in Germany, Austria, Indonesia, Uruguay and EAU. Our international network comprises around 200 renowned strategic partners, among which are leading colleges and universities, such as UC Berkeley, Stanford, NTU, NUS or Universita degli Studi di Bologna. UCAM have established exchange programmes, joint degrees and other forms of academic collaboration with these partners.

We have created strong connections with industry increase our students’ employability. There are over 2,000 placement agreements between UCAM and companies across different industries. In 2018, our students secured more than 3,300 internships.

Our educational approach emphasises personal attention. We keep our class size small and assign a personal tutor to every student. As a Catholic institution, UCAM aims to educate students not only on academic knowledge but also on human values by means of academic subjects, volunteering projects, meetings, congresses and workshops.

UCAM is known as the University of Sports. We are the only European university with a professional basketball team in the first national league (ACB League Spain). Over 20 other sports teams at UCAM are competing at professional levels. Over the years, UCAM has won 46 medals at the Spanish University Sports Competition. In 2012, UCAM was the crowned the Champion, competing in 21 sports with more than 2,000 college athletes. UCAM students were awarded over 100 medals in the Olympic Games in Athens, Beijing and London. We are proud to be the educational body of the Spanish LFP (Professional Football League).

UCAM has promoted sports and physical activity since its foundation. Our Sports Activities Service offers students the opportunity to practice their sport or modality at all levels. We organise internal Championships (Opening Trophy and President Trophy), sponsor professional teams and participate in the Spanish University Competition.

Much of UCAM’s success is due to our commitment to innovation and a pioneering study system that enables high-level athletes to maintain their sports activities alongside their academic studies.
