British students benefit from networking opportunities and affordable fees abroad
Five months ago, Archie Buse decided to leave his hometown Rock (Cornwall) for a Bachelor's degree in Business at Prague College, a British university in the Czech Republic. His love for Central Europe, discovered after two trips using the interailling programme, plays a role in the decision. However, more important factors were affordable tuition fees and international experience.
Archie was not disappointed. Prague is a vibrant and student-friendly city. It offers him not only a huge abundance of events, but also a strong expat community and international network. Moreover, as part of his course at Prague College, Archie had the opportunity to visit Radio Free Europe. Here he learned how news is produced and distributed to countries where flow of information is restricted by government authorities.
