Course Description:

A rock band is on tour and is scheduled to perform in 9 different sports stadiums. Customers at a music store receive a free DVD during a special summer sale. Humanitarian aid is sent abroad after a natural disaster. All these activities demand a good logistics manager.

The Logistics Management (LM) course at HAN concentrates on logistics. LM graduates can spot and identify problems in the production and distribution of goods and services  and can find satisfying solutions based on a thorough analysis of alternatives. They can become specialists in many fields, such as purchasing, production, marketing, automation and cost control. In addition to paying ample attention to these subjects, the course concentrates on internationalisation.

Example of functions for LM graduates are: logistics manager, head of physical distribution, logistics analyst, distribution manager, purchaser and production planner.
